Godself

Daily, worship your Personal God,
With offerings, prayers, and fragrant incense.
Bend your heart to your God:
That befits the office of Personal God.
Prayers, supplication, raising the hand in greeting,
These shall you offer up every morning.
Then your power will be great,
And you will, through the Angel, have enormous success.

~ Babylonian Proverb

The Godself contains the template of who we are, who we are to become, and what we are meant to do. It is our Personal God, our Divine Self, our Self Parent. The Godself is the soul who inspires and guides us. It contains both male and female within itself, but is usually perceived as feminine. The Hawaiian term for the Godself, Aumakua, is sometimes translated "utterly trustworthy parental pair." She is our Holy Guardian Angel.

The consciousness of the Godself is beyond linear thought, beyond sensory or psychic awareness. It is perhaps even beyond time. The Godself knows far more than the other two selves, and is part of the great company of Godselves--the Poe Aumakua.

The spirit body of the Godself is focused just above our head and this is where it can be most easily perceived with etheric sight. It may appear as a ball of glowing light about nine inches across. The light is usually blue, but sometimes appears golden in people who are spiritually advanced.
