THE TRIUNE SOUL
Essential to the study of Vicia is an understanding of the
spiritual structure of the human being. Vicia teaches us
that we have a four-fold nature: a physical body and three
souls. Each soul is individual and distinct, yet they are
also one. Each part also possesses its own spirit body and
characteristic consciousness.
A rough
comparison can be made to cell structure in biology. A cell
is a single living thing, but may also be described as a
cooperative structure formed of a nucleus, cytoplasm, and
outer membrane. As with the different parts of a cell, each
part of the triune soul possesses different characteristics
and functions.
The
descriptions and exercises that follow are intended to lead to a deeper understanding
of the three souls and begin the work of attaining harmony between them. The exercises
are firmly rooted in the Andersons' teachings; however, the form in which they
appear here is the original work of Mandorla. A
few of many terms used for the three souls...

for anyone. (See Huna for more information.)
